Verse my Days ("the App") is designed with your privacy as a priority. This policy explains how we handle your information.
Data Storage
All journal entries, photos, and personal preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your journal content, and it is never uploaded to our servers or any third-party storage.

Voice Transcription
When you use voice recording, your audio is sent securely to OpenAI's Whisper service for transcription. This transmission is:
- Encrypted in transit
- Processed only to provide transcription
- Not stored by OpenAI after processing
AI Poem Generation
When you generate a poem, the text of your journal entries for that day is sent securely to OpenAI's API. This is used solely to create your personalized poem and is:
- Encrypted in transit
- Processed only for poem generation
- Not stored by OpenAI after processing
Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, notification scheduling happens entirely on your device. We do not receive any information about your notification preferences or usage patterns.
No Tracking or Analytics
We do not use cookies, analytics services, or tracking technologies. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or behavioral information.
Third-Party Services
The only third-party service used is OpenAI for voice transcription and poem generation. OpenAI's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control. Uninstalling the app removes all your data. You can also delete individual entries or clear all data from within the app.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
